Acetic Acid
is a colorless transparent liquid with pungent sour odor. It is also known as glacial acetic acid whenever the purity is 99.5% or more. Acetic acid is soluble in water, alcohols, and ethers and is widely used in man-made fibers, rubber, plastics, agriculture, herbicides, leather, organic salts, dyes and textiles.
